Ashley McGee, LCSW

Ashley McGee was awarded her Masters in Social Work by Loyola University of Chicago and is an active Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (License #SW13364). She has worked in a variety of settings (home-based intensive outpatient program, VA medical center, maternity & adoption, mobile crisis response, public school system) with clients ranging from active and retired military personnel, first responders, foster and adoptive parents, trauma survivors, young adults, at-risk youth and their families. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma & PTSD, marital and family conflict. She uses an eclectic approach consisting of humanistic, existential, cognitive behavior and dialectical behavior therapy and enjoys both practicing and teaching mindfulness. She has additional training and experience providing Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and is now Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level I & II trained.
